Team Selection
Each member of the project team is selected based on his or her particular skills and expertise to ensure that the output is optimized.

Whether they are officially assigned to a client’s project or not, all Scisive’s staff contribute their experience and insights into every piece of work that we perform.
Secondary Research
Once we have reviewed our client’s in-house data, Scisive initiates the process of gathering, reviewing and interpreting further data.
Our secondary research consists of library and internet searches for important and relevant information, in both public and Scisive’s proprietary databases, on scientific, medical, commercial and competitive data that are significant to addressing the issue in hand.
Primary Research
Primary research is the core of what we do. As required by each project, we reach out to our network of medical and life sciences professionals, and knowledgeable industry figures. We make phone calls to people who have access to market intelligence and unpublished data and who have key insights and perspectives into industry trends. These in-depth, structured interviews, typically lasting one hour, probe deeply into the issues that are being explored, and enable us to develop and test our hypotheses, secondary research findings, insights and provisional recommendations. To ensure that we bring unique insights into the issues that our clients are facing, we conduct interviews with:
- Clinicians and researchers who are key opinion leaders in their field to gain up-to-the-minute insight into innovations and changes in medical practice, technology and the market environment
- Industry experts – payers, company managers, investors and competitors – to add perspective to the events that are shaping the current and future environment in which our clients are operating
- Attendees at medical conferences to gather up-to-date information from clinicians and the companies who are serving their needs
