Testing Manager

Duty

◆ Responsible for budget, capacity planning, testing infrastructure roadmap as well as monitoring of testing lab;

◆ Develop or apply testing procedures and processes in a productively manner;

◆ Push the team to be more professional and improve the efficiency;

◆ Lead the team to be much more innovative and introduce the new Products and external new technologies into testing and devices;

◆ Develop the know-how on advanced products, EA and EoA products

◆ Lead and manage the department to complete the relevant work in qualification tests for NEP/CP/EV/cost reduction/localization projects with CQT requirement, including test methods, plans, preparation, implementation, failure analysis and reports;

◆ Responsible for setting up and CIP of testing capability according to the R&D center strategy with alignment of HQ, including infrastructure, equipment, process, experience and training of staff;

◆ Support the Plant to set up suitable testing capability for traceability and localization needs and testing method or equipment for mass production;

◆ Propose innovations and improvements of testing systems and procedures to fulfil the requirement of new products or application;

◆ Keep aware of latest testing method and equipment to improve testing quality and efficiency;

◆ R&D, project office and product management department: Share the information of testing plan, status, progress, questions… for projects and get alignment

◆ Provide sufficient support for product testing and testing device

◆ Working together with HQ for gap analysis and action plans in testing aspect

◆ Lead and direct a team of testing engineers and device engineers to ensure that the team’s resources are used effectively, and the project schedules and targets are met;

◆ Evaluate the staff by means of a qualification matrix, which is continuously adjusted to the demands, and create training plans in cooperation with HR to further develop the team

◆ Coach and mentor less experienced testers; check the quality of their work and help them resolve problems

◆ Willing and take responsibility to share experience and knowledge

◆ Proactive and push people and projects moving forward

 

Requirement

◆ Above bachelor’s degree in mechanics, mechatronics or electronics

◆ 10+ years of relevant business experience necessary

◆ Preferred 5 years of management experience

◆ Multiply tasks and prioritization management

◆ Problem solving, time management, prioritization

◆ Awareness of business and finance implications

◆ Very good pneumatic, mechatronics or electronics knowledge

◆ Experience in the area of continuous process improvement

◆ Knowledge about development of employees and in personal management

◆ Language: Chinese fluent& English fluent

◆ IT skills: MS Office, SAP…

◆ Intercultural awareness and knowledge
