Robert J. Easton Speaks on the Medical Industry in India
At the Annual Meeting of the New York Biotechnology Association [NYBA] in New York City on April 19, 2010, Robert J. Easton, Chairman of Scisive Consulting, LP participated in a panel entitled India and China: The Biotechnology Industry's Growing Powers. The panel was organized and moderated by Joel Papernik, Member of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo, P.C. and included Michael Rafa of OSI Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Jonathan Pan of King & Wood and Greg Kalbaugh of the US-India Business Council.
Presentation Abstract: Mr. Easton titled his presentation India Medical & OECD Medical: Then & Now and showed how perceptions of the medical industry in India have changed over the past decade, both in terms of how Indian medical business people look at India [inward] and at the more developed economies [outward], and also how Westerner medical business people look at India, in 2000 and now.
